“Hospice care allows patients to live until they
die, their families to live with them as they are
dying, and  go on living afterwards  …..  “

Elizabeth Kübler-Ross

Below are additional resources, mainly links and book titles, that can help you navigate your way through palliative care and grief for yourself or a loved one.  Consider also searching for the local chapter or provincial organization of the involved disease.  Please be reminded that organizations vary in their ability to update information, and their site addresses may change without notice.  Remain curious however, there are many resources that can help a great deal.

Your local hospice or palliative care unit social worker and other staff members are one of the most helpful resources that you can use if you can’t find information you need here.

The NORTH SHORE HOSPICE, is located at 319 East 14th Street, North Vancouver. Telephone 604-904-6174.
